Ordering/Scheduling

Several procedures are available for ordering and payment. Each procedure is designed to adapt to individual needs:

   - Official order and payment from the school to the association. This is the simplest procedure for colleagues and the PPC association.
   - Order by the teacher and payment by the parents on the association's payment platform. The teacher places an order with the association, which sends all the books. He distributes the books to each pupil with the payment letter. This distribution is the simplest, fastest, cheapest and most environmentally friendly system, but requires precise monitoring by the teacher. Without this rigorous monitoring of payments by the teacher, it is not possible to implement this option. In previous years, we have had numerous problems with unpaid books.
   - Direct sales to parents. The professor distributes the payment letter. The parent logs on to the platform and pays for their book. They then receive the book directly at home. The teacher no longer has to monitor payments. There is an additional shipping cost of €4.20 to €8.50 depending on the destination.
   - NEW service reserved for schools located far away: sales per class. Schools far from the Benelux countries often have a problem delivering books purchased through direct sales. It is possible to adopt a system per class. Parents pay for the book on the platform for a week. We prepare the boxes per class in the students' names, and we send the boxes once a week via a specialised carrier.
   - Ordered by the teacher and payment collected by the teacher. Primary school teachers generally use this method of distribution. The teacher makes a transfer from their private account to the association as soon as the collection is complete. This option requires monitoring by the subject coordinator. There are sometimes delays in payments or errors in the "communication" during the transfer.
   - Other solutions are available in case of blockages. The association also has an online shop. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

You can send us an estimate of your needs by email to contact@ppcbook.org. It is not compulsory to use the order form. If necessary, the association will provide you with an indicative estimate. If you are taking books, don't forget to include in the list of books distributed to parents: "books provided by the teacher".

To obtain books at the start of the school year:
   - Before August 15th, please let us know which classes you will have, even if you do not have the exact number of pupils. It is better to order more books than you think you will need. Ordering more books after the start of the school year takes us a lot of preparation time and is very expensive in terms of postage. We would remind you that the teacher is not financially responsible for books left in stock at the school. Only distributed books are invoiced to parents.
   - Before the start of the school year, please provide us with the names of the classes and teachers so that we can enter them on the payment platform (if this payment option has been chosen). It is possible to give us the exact number of pupils after the start of the school year.
